Almost 15000 steps!

After already walking to and from a busy day at work, Stacey and I made it a Friday afternoon goal to explore somewhere new!

In 14,985 steps, here's where we got! Pictures to come later.
  • Jardín Japonés- A beautiful Japanese garden right off a busy street! Time froze as we walked through. A lot more greenery than most gardens, definitely a sight to see!
  • Plaza Benjamín Gould- Intending to walk to Rosedal, we ended up at this park because the large statue in the middle of the street looked like the same statue by Rosedal. Apparently it wasn't. It seemed like the park had a concert later but with a river and a cool ball like Epcot in Disney, it was pretty exciting.
  • El Rosedal- The huge botanical garden of Buenos Aires, and we were there right around when the sun was about to set so we saw it with a pretty pink sky.
  • Avenida de Libertador- a busy street through Palermo and Recoleta, two neighborhoods of Buenos Aires
  • Alto Palermo- I'd compare this mall to the Water Tower Place of Palermo. With a variety of upscale stores, the front is lined with a taste of America. Benihana (yes, Benihana is in Argentina), TGI Friday's, Starbucks and McDonalds are all next to each other. Crazy, right?!
